Other Special Spiritual Events

Holiday Observances

Periodically Scheduled According to the Jewish Calendar.

The Center uses the vehicle of the Jewish holidays for special learning and celebrations. Each year there are parties, concerts, and teachings to celebrate the deeper mystical intent of Purim, Sukkot, and Chanukah.

Expanded Teachings

Periodically Scheduled.

From time to time, the Center sponsors more intensive learning opportunities. These are half day or full-day offerings of music, instruction, and meditation. They provide a deeper immersion in learning and an opportunity for members to better connect with each other.

Weekend Retreat

A weekend-long retreat is held each year in the spring. It is the Center’s best opportunity for extended time with Michael. The retreat offers learning, meditation, a chance to celebrate a complete Shabbat, and wonderful friendship among participants.

Hebrew Instruction

For those interested in exploring the sacred vibration and wisdom contained in the Hebrew language, Hebrew instruction, taught by Miriam Shapiro, is available. Classes are small, friendly, great fun and another way to enrich your community experience.
